Ilam Tea (Bamboo Weave Packaging)

Ilam, in Nepal's far east, sits at the kind of altitude and mist that tea plants quietly thrive on cool nights, slow growth, and soil that hasn't been pushed into mass production. This everyday Ilam blend is sourced from those hillside gardens and processed as an orthodox black tea, meaning the leaves are rolled and oxidized whole rather than cut into fine particles for speed.

That distinction shows up in the cup: rounder, less astringent, with a natural sweetness that doesn't need much sugar to shine through. It's the tea Lumbini Tea House built its reputation on the one regulars order without checking the menu, because it's been reliably good for over two decades.

Unlike the estate-reserve Himalayan Ilam Black Tea, this is the everyday expression of the same origin: honest, consistent, and priced for daily drinking rather than gifting.
